Councillor Melanie Dagg says the $400,000 Branxton Town Centre upgrades are nearing completion. The work includes the construction of more pathways and street tree planting on John Rose Avenue at the Branxton Oval entrance and on the northern side of Maitland Street, between John Rose Avenue and Church Street.
This is the first stage of rolling out the Branxton Town Centre Public Domain Plan and Development Control Plan, which were developed to reflect the community’s vision following a lengthy consultation process.Melanie Dagg
With the support of Clayton Barr MP, Member for Cessnock, Council secured $400,000 under the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund to assist in funding the upgrades.
I’m looking forward to seeing more beautification works completed in our lovely town centre in the future 🌳🌳🌳Melanie Dagg
